 Nahan is the district Headquarter of Sirmour. It is situated in the south of Himachal Pradesh located on the shivalik valley, offer you lush green mountains. The city was established Raja Karan Parkash in 1621.You can visit Nahan any month because here climate is so good because it is closer to the plain and high peaks.

How to Reach:-

By Bus: - You can reach via Bus it is the most basic mode of travel available this place. 

By Rail: - Ambala is the nearest Railway Station only 60 km from Nahan.

By Air: - Chandigarh is the nearest airport only 80 km from Nahan.
 
Main Attraction of Nahan:-

Rani Tal
The Rani Tal has been developed as a picnic spot and attracts to people to visit here. The Ruler of Nahan had made especially arrangements for their family entertainment especially for Rani.There is boating facility are available to visitor.

Jaggannath Mandir
It was constructed in 1681 by the king of Raja Budh Parkash. It is believed that Lord is come to dreams of the king and conveyed the desire to be removed from the peepal tree and installed in a proper temple.

Suketi Fossil Park
It is a wonderful attraction to the Jurassic era of Indian Plateau. It is world famous for its display of fossils and life size fiber models of some pre-historic animals. This is the first Park in Asia Developed at the exact size where fossils were discovered. It is located in the bank of Markanda River and approximately 25 kms from Nahan.

Trilokpur Temple
It was constructed in 1573 by Raja Dip Prakash. This beautiful temple is located at a distance of 25 kms from Nahan and 8 km from Narayangarh (Haryana). Every year 10-15 lakhs visitors are visit this temple and worship of Mata BalaSundri.
